The angel's wing
The angel's wing surrounds us with a golden, shiny light
protecting us from the dark and the bad.
Gives us strength to go further into the new day,
dawning from the night.
Gives us love to be good to other people,
to spread joy and happiness to those who suffer.
Gives us warm hearts to share our feelings,
to show who we really are.

Angels among us
Kjære følgere,

The hands that give to those in need
The heart that loves in faith and deed
The voice that speaks the truth decrees
These are angels among us.
The common cause to help all those
Whether they be friends or foes
The compassion for all so lovingly grows
These are angels among us.
The forgetting of self to the service to others
The knowledge we are all sisters and brothers
The extra mile is the distance they cover
These are angels among us.
The Christ-like spirit to demonstrate
The limitless love from God so great
The disciple who walks so humble and straight
These are angels among us

Når jeg legger meg til hvile
Jeg fikk lyst til å ta med dette diktet i englebloggen, det er så nydelig - englene passer på
alle, unge og gamle:
Når jeg legger meg til hvile,
tretten engler om meg står.
Tvende med min høyre smiler,
tvende til min venstre går,
to på vakt ved hodeputen,
to ved foten dessforuten,
to meg dekker,
to meg vekker,
en meg viser
alle himlens paradiser.
